Shout Communications is offering £2,500 worth of free broadcast and digital PR support to the winner of its charity competition.
Charities need to write up to 300 words outlining the campaign Shout would support, and the benefits the agency would bring, by 7 November. CIPR president Lis Lewis-Jones and PRCA director general Francis Ingham are heading the panel of judges.
Saffron Chase is providing pro bono public affairs support to Pratham, a charity that helps illiterate children in India. It will lobby the Department for International Development and UK business to help fund Pratham's programme.
Adams Creative has been hired by medical firm Pure Global to launch a product for wheelchair users. The integrated marketing agency will target different wheelchair user groups, medical and technology sectors, and the media. 'PR is the natural tool to get the message out there,' said founder Robert Orford. 'We want to raise the bar for our industry.'
The Alzheimer's Society has been targeting national broadcast media and print features to gain coverage for a report highlighting the experiences of people with dementia. The charity released a video on YouTube this week, showing people with dementia talking about their diagnosis.
