Kate Magee 17-Oct-08
Golley Slater is to help promote a new air ambulance service in the South West.
The Great Western Air Ambulance was set up in June. It has a team of doctors and paramedics that are based in Bristol.
It is funded soley by donations, so the agency has been brought on board to raise both funds and awareness in the local press.
The agency is hoping to encourage donations of £1.3m, which is the amount needed to keep the service in flight for a year.
Golley Slater Bristol's director Liam Herbert said that over the next six months his team will organise appeals with the Bristol Evening Post, GWR Radio and the Gloucester Echo among other initiatives.
